Sažetak
Within the process of ownership tranformation mass privatisation was implemented in all the countries in transition, with the positive contribution to the recovery of economy. The modes of mass privatisation in Croatia went through two phases. In the first phase, 1992- 1994, the instruments and technique were not typical the scope of participants was typical for mass privatisation. Mostly because of economic situation, the great enthusiasm, value and number of participant have strongly diminished in following years. The second phase (1997-1998), started with the mini mass privatisation. The coupon privatisation program in 1998 is of much more imporatnce. Indicators and trends in Craotian economy are the key factor that inflate to the success of the privatisation programme again. Within the expectations the phenomenon of privatisation investing funds can have the positive effects. The future steps in mass privatisation can be expected, too. The first, related to the privatsation of some state enterprises ; the second, related to the political reasons (elections) and based on the adopted mode form the first phase.
