Sažetak
Through the exchange of traffic data between operators can be achieved by effective public transport, accessible information and ultimately better service for customers(passengers).A large number of passenger information systems for public passenger transport exists at the level of individual operators, and their mutual interoperability and exchange of data is very limited, with the exception of basic data (timetable and prices of transportation).Information systems intended to inform passengers depend on many basic heterogeneous information systems, ranging from the management of transport infrastructure network, infrastructure facilities, public transport, public service passenger transport, and a variety of regulations and processes on which to perform services of bus passengers. Commercial and techno-logical systems operators are mostly based on registries whose data exchange one of the key drivers of optimization work, starting with simple automation of existing processes through a comprehensive transformation of the system and the construction of modern user- oriented services. An additional incentive for such a change is foreseeable need for interoperability of national systems of registers and system states of the European Union. Current systems Croatian original registers are generally vertically structured so if you are computerized, primarily dealing with its already established administrative processes. His prevents implementation of user- oriented solutions and the achievement of maximum business and financial effects. By establishing a framework for data exchange registers and development services to meet the basic social needs for prompt and updated information at the central level, strengthen interoperability between different operators, accelerating the development of services, reduces the burden of administration. In paper, we also investigate the exchange of information between operators in transport in both Croatia and EU member states, and it is proposed as an alternative to sustainable interoperab- ility information be included in the European passenger information system (EPIS) and data exchange.
