Sažetak
During the second year of the project A Multipurpose and Interdisciplinary Sensor Array for Environmental Research in Central Europe (CERGOP-2/Environment), several important research activities in the International geodynamic test area Plitvice Lakes were performed. The geodynamic points in the vicinity of lakes were used as abase point during combined GPS/echosounder measurements. Two frequencies have been used in order to find out about the underlying structures below the lake bottom. The results obtained show significant fabris which should be carefully interpreted in order to predict the future travertine formation, which is the essential phenomenon of the Plitvice Lakes. All data are processed by means of spatial analysisy in a geographical information software (GIS). All equipement used was tested in laboratory conditions.
