Sažetak
The integration of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina into European transport network is a complex and gradual procedure. Both countries, due to the well-known war, have objectively lost their "connection" to the European transport network. This situation has been evident especially lately in avoiding the Croatian and Bosnian and Herzegovinian territory when forming the European traffic corridors. Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have geo-traffic basics of comparative advantages in connecting the north and the south of Europe by central geo-traffic corridor with the basis on the long front of the Adriatic Sea. Compared to other countries, this advantage is obvious and it should be utilised with great knowledge. The needs of Europe for connections with the Near East across Posavina (the Sava region) can be used in the Adriatic Sea. Croatian understanding for the European needs of the Sava region corridor should be put into the context of counterbalance of the Adriatic traffic corridors for Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, as the priority Croatian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian interest.
