Sažetak
Among 4, 545 injured in 1991/92 war in Croatia managed at Department of Surgery Osijek University Hospital during 18 months, 25 sustained injuries by assault hand grenade M75. Only 5 patients underwent formal surgical procedure ; the remaining 20 underwent limited surgical procedure. There were no postoperative complications. It appears that penetrating wounds caused by the spheres from a hand-grenade usually make small damage because of low-energy and narrow permanent cavity. Therefore such wounds demand more expectative and conservative surgical attitude.
