Sažetak
This paper offers traditional cultural heritage of Omiš and Poljica area. In this article numerous old customs were mentioned. Some of them aren't being done anymore and some others are still performed. We can get to know some geographical features of Omiš and Poljica area and find out something about legends . Some of them are historically grounded, and some of them are just good example of fantasy that people were used to explain unexplainable. Also, we can find out something about Christian customs and holidays. Except Christian customs, this paper contains numerous other customs like the one related to weddings and some interesting customs of town Omiš. Also some chapters present us various poems that people used to sing, riddles , sayings, superstition and many more.
