Sažetak
Considering Swedish Landrace importance for pigbreeding in the Republic of Croatia this paper points to its meatness properties. The research was carried out in carcasses of pigs (n=20) fattened from body weight of 25 to 105 kg. Right pig carcassses were been dissected according to Weniger et al. method (1963). Swedish Landrace carcasses at slaughter with body weight of 105 kg contain 56.49% of muscle tissue. Carcasse conformation is specific one in terms of existing pig genotypes in the Republic of Croatia. Especially back part is pointed out as a result of selection on a alarger trunk length and larger number of teats. Muscle tissue quality is a normal one.
