Sažetak
Green economy opens up opportunities to stimulate investments, enhance economic competitiveness and create new jobs through improvement of the existing infrastructure, innovation, and significant structural changes in all sectors. In order to achieve a higher level of quality in planning the education of future energy experts, the purpose of this paper is to analyse the students’ knowledge and attitudes on the impact of energy and climate change on various areas of human activity. The attitudes were measured in two ways: the respondents’ subjective assessment and an objective test designed for the purposes of this paper. Since both analyses show a lack of students’ awareness, the concluding part of this paper points to the need for a better education system due to the increasing demand for experts in energy economics.
