Sažetak
Education systems around the world kill creativity and it is of great interest of the students to change that fact as soon as possible. Positive initiative and seek for a change are evident in reports of multiple workshops and consultation meetings held worldwide, as the attempts to provide framework in educating ‘digital natives’ to equip them with knowledge and skills necessary for 21st century. There is no doubt that creativity is one of those skills – it is in human’s nature to be creative and need for creativity is experiencing everyday growth. In this world of constant changes, creative thinking and problem solving are necessities for personal fulfilment and employability in a knowledge society. This paper presents definitions, theories and achievements in the field of creativity in general context and specific to a computer science education.
