Sažetak
This paper problematizes themes linked to human rights, especially the right on education or the integration of children with developmental difficulties, the level of the professors’ information in this context and the “feminisation” of this profession. This research’s aims were to determine the knowledge of theoretical and practical concepts linked to the integrated education of children with developmental disabilities and the differences in that knowledge regarding the university professors’ sex. A modified questionnaire of the ESERakad Tempus Project – Education for Equal Opportunities at Croatian Universities – EduQuality – was used in the research. The research was conducted among professors of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (N=104). Along with working out the marginal frequencies, the discriminatory analysis and the univariate analysis of variance were used in the research. In line with the first aim of the research, based on the obtained indicators, it can be concluded that the aforementioned sample of university professors do not have sufficient knowledge about concepts linked to the integrated education of children with developmental disabilities. In line with the second aim of the research, the results have shown that female professors recognize to a greater extent certain concepts linked to the integrated education of children with developmental disabilities than male colleagues.
