Sažetak
The influence of the variation in the strength of the clay hollow masonry units and the contact on the vertical and the horizontal strength of the masonry wall was investigated. Used were previously validated three- dimensional micromodels build in ATENA 3D Eng nonlinear finite element computer program. Prior to analysis of the entire spatial framed- masonry structure, activities such as these ensure fewer unknowns in calibration procedure and improve accuracy of the seismic resistance forecast. At the end of the investigation, by conducting the sensitivity analysis in MATLAB, we concluded that the influence of the variation of masonry constituent properties is not negligible, which may significantly alter the expected seismic response of the structure.
