Sažetak
In situ synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction monitoring[5] revealed that the mechanochemical formation of MOF materials often proceeds through different intermediate phases, most of which are inaccessible from solution procedures. It is possible to isolate and characterize these intermediates, gaining deeper insight into mechanisms underlying mechanochemical formation of extended metal-organic frameworks. Herein presented results not only demonstrate suitability of mechanochemistry for the controllable synthesis of microporous metal-based materials, but also provide significant contributions for understanding the mechanochemical reactivity.
