Sažetak
The development of the safety related valve class 1E electric motor is described The design changes
implemented in order to satisfy the 1E requirements, and a way in which related 1E standards are addressed, are shown.
The development was realized in three stages. 1n the first stage eight motorettes were made and the insulation system
was tested. In the second stage the motor was produced in accordance with producer's prototype QA program. In the
third stage part of the testing of the produced motor was made.
The results of the testing, finished until now, show that produced motor, as well as similarly produced motors, is able to
perform its safety function in the design bases accident conditions as requested by class 1E requirements.
The rest of the testing (LOCA test) can be made on the same or similar motor in the future.
