Sažetak
The article deals with Croatian students at the Universities of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, experiences and conditions during their studies. It also analyzes the fluctuation between Austro-Hungarian universities, the motives in the selection of the studies, sociability and everyday life. According to personal notes (memoirs, autobiographical records, diaries, correspondences) and contemporary student publications the particular reconstruction of the experience of the Croatian students at the turn of the century can be made.
