Sažetak
The need for colour management can be summarised in two words: open systems and network. The reqirements for accurate colour reproduction and for the preservation of this information across display and print devices that have very different characteristics and may be geograficaly apart were the reason for International Colour Consortium (ICC) to create a standard which attempts to serve as a cross-platform device profile format to be used to characterize colour devices. The work describes some aspects of colour management that are important in graphic art reproduction.
