Sažetak
New Voices in Higher Education Research and Scholarship explores the role of higher education in today’s society. It discusses the rapidly changing nature of higher education around the globe, especially the relationship between higher education and social development. This reference book will be of use to policymakers, academicians, researchers, students, and government officials. This volume draws together 15 chapters of higher education research in areas like the changing pattern of decision making, labor market issues, knowledge acquisition and creation, lifelong learning, globalization and internationalization issues, challenging university teachers' competency levels, modernizing the university, university program reviews, access by underrepresented groups, and multidisciplinary research.
