Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to argue for a contextualization, as a pre-interpretation in contextual analysis approach, in order to find a relevant context for our analysis. Although context as an analytic framework is not something new, only a few authors problematized what is actually context, or relevant context for our analysis (Young 1985 ; Ben Amos 1993, 2010 ; Dilley 1999). The importance of the relevant context is not yet recognized in almost all social and humanities. In this paper I will present the main ideas about the context and relevant context, and at the end show the possibilities of contextual analysis approach on several case studies focused on practice of marking the resting place with the deceased – mirila of Dalmatian hinterland.
