Sažetak
In the paper the autors present some viws on the education of the teacher of the future. They emphasize that the problem doesn't lie with school pluralism and alternative education, but with fact that the focus of the discussion must be switched to the starting point - the teacher. Besides classical rducation and training the teacher of the future will need new competencies, ways of acting and personal characteristics of the modern teacher in order to meet modern challenges. He will be characterized by the openness of experience, the flexibility of ideas and dedication to the principle of giving/receiving.
