Sažetak
We witness daily the of unexpected and adverse effects of climate change that is uncontrollable relation to nature human- induced, the excessive greenhouse gas emissions. Problems of energy in the world and man's inexhaustible hunger for it have led to almost daily the most devastating and of unexpected weather disasters. They are just a warning nature to us she never cheats. In this context, reducing energy consumption, which is directly connected with the pollutant emissions, the daily task of designers, engineers and architects, owners and investors to their new or old buildings consume as little energy . In this task are the most responsible building envelopes. All new buildings must be nearly zero energy consumption, and therefore before the building envelope is placed and unavoidable commitments that they are the generators of energy.Sophisticated solution the innovative technical concepts of building envelopes range from the use of new, modern nanomaterials to interactive dynamic structure facade that meets these requirements. This paper presents an overview of modern trends of development of smart facades of building envelopes, the way they function and the characteristics of their technical performance.
