Sažetak
Shotcrete are composite materials used for rock stabilization at steep slopes and in tunnels due to its setting time of only a few minutes. A further peculiarity of this material is its application to the surface by jet spraying, so-called concrete-gunning. In this work, hydration of Portland cement (PC) and Portland cement with various mass fraction additions of commercial product Kedobet AS 301 as an additive for the preparation of materials (shotcrete) with very short setting times has been investigated. The effect of additives on hydration kinetics was investigated in situ by calorimetry and powder X-ray diffraction of extracted material. The prepared materials do not show affinity towards cracking and expansive reactions, attain very short setting times and thus satisfies the requirements for composite placement by jet spraying.
