Sažetak
In order to attract, motivate and retain employees organizations pursue different reward strategies. The central element of all these strategies is employee pay. Pay satisfaction can have numerous individual and organizational outcomes. This paper reports the results of a study researching the role of pay satisfaction in moderating organizational commitment among operational level employees in a public sector company. Understanding how public sector employees become committed and which factors contribute to their commitment is an important issue in increasing their performance. Research results indicate that pay satisfaction is a significant determinant of continuance and normative commitment for this group of employees.
