Sažetak
This paper presents the Geographic Information System designed to map the Historic Core of Split, Croatia. It has been developed with the scope of a student project within an innovative Conceive/Design/Implement/Operate graduate course. The paper describes the technology used to develop and implement the Geographic Information System. Different methods are used to gather the data and digitize the parcel and building areas. The final outcomes of the project are three derivatives of the developed Geographic Information System: 1) a virtual reality model, 2) a 3D printing physical model, and 3) a distributed Geographic Information System.
