Sažetak
The paper discusses the protective properties of two structures incorporated into clothing that protect against electromagnetic radiation. The structures comprise basic fabric, sticky interlining, protective interlining fabric and lining fabric. The difference between these two structures is in the composition of the protective interlining fabric. Structure S1 is made of polyamide fabric with a copper coating, while the structure S2 is made of polyester fabric with copper coating. The protective properties of S1 and S2 before and after ironing are tested at frequencies of 1.8 GHz and 2.1 GHz. It was found that structure S2 showed weaker protective efficiency compared to S1. After ironing and 10 cycles of dry cleaning, the structure S2 retains better protective properties despite its lower initial values of shield effectiveness against electromagnetic radiation.
