Sažetak
The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the applicability of constructivist teaching / learning to secondary education with reference to constructivism as the most suitable approach to modern and quality education. In accordance with theoretical and practical guidelines of constructivism we designed and conducted a pilot project named "Cartoon English". Constructivist teaching methods were institutionally integrated as a part of a secondary-school subject "Multimedia Technologies" attended by students of respective ages. To assess content adoption, the students had to create an interactive- educational multimedia CD / DVD regarding the English language and containing visual material which had been drawn by pre-school children as a part of their English classes. The research results confirm that constructivist teaching is both applicable in the classroom as well as complementary to other subjects.
