Sažetak
Modern information and communication technology is developing really fast. It is expected that the usage of ICT changes in everyday fields of work, private, public and other market activities but especially in educational science. The usage of new technologies is becoming more present among young children. Smartphone usage and crossing the index finger over the screen is almost present in everyday activities of a one year old child instead of using didactic toys appropriate their age, they play with smartphones, tablets and other “technological toys”. Starting with comprehension that the usage of new technologies is omnipresent in almost all social segments with the accent on proper usage based on ergonomic guidelines, especially in educational institutes, the question is if the child who uses smartphones and other devices inappropriate their age is ready for proper usage of the same technologies starting primary school. It is possible to notice in practice that no matter using a lot of technology devices in early age, children that get ICT as a regular or elective school subject often don’t use the computer mouse properly. In this article there are given same methodical examples of using and introducing children with the term “mouse” and desktop.
