Sažetak
Sports-recreational and health tourism represents an important feature for the development and the enrichment of Croatia's and Slovenia's tourist offer. The creation of programmes of sports- recreational and health offer is a result of a more frequent demand on a domestic and foreign tourist market because of the dynamic life of contemporary people. Croatia and Slovenia possess all the key elements for the development of this form of tourism (the sun, the sea, suitable climate, mineral springs). The paper gives an insight into the importance of benchmarking analysis in improving the tourist activities. Tourist offer of sports-recreational and health tourism is being analyzed, as well as the key parameters for development of sports-recreational and health tourism.
