Sažetak
The chapter presents water resources in the Danube, Drava and Mura basins. The second part describes national legislation, conventions and ineternational agreements. The third part presents an approach to the Croatian water resources master plan, which is being prepered. After presenting the basic criteria and the actual work on the plan the paper presents basics physical and economic characteristics of the Danube, Drava and Mura watersheds in Croatia. Water management and possible complex solutions in these watersheds are discussed, especially regarding the problem of international status of the rivers, which form the borders between Croatia and Slovenia, Hungary and Yugoslavia.
