Sažetak
As tourism endangers everyday life the issue rises around the argument for eventual visions of development which will enable the community in historical cities to keep on living and tourism to maintain the position of a key economic factor. Based on the case study of the Adriatic city of Zadar, this paper proposes identification of four spatial aspects within which an action-based expertise is needed as to establish a new creative strategy for development of sustainable tourism. Expertise should activate all stakeholders across the social spectrum, from local university experts to NGOs.
