Sažetak
Smart phones and tablets are available to a greater number of children and youths. It is almost incomprehensible and "unacceptable" that a child in a kindergarten does not own a personal mobile phone, palm-reader, gaming console, portable computer, desktop etc. The availability of new information and communication technologies to an ever younger population, constant availability of the Internet and information searching, creation of new forms and modes of communication, types of acceptance and orientation in an infinite informational space, speed and selection of well-designed marketing products over the last decade, caused a real technological information and communication boom among all age groups. In the context of an appropriate use of ICT, a permanent teachers’ education plays a significant role in the education of children. What is important is to get children aware of the positive and negative consequences of the use of new technologies. Today computers are present everywhere and are an integral part of everyday human life from the youngest age until old age.
