Sažetak
The objective of this paper is to present the process of modern education and training of managers in the maritime industry, some possible new concepts, as well as the needs and importance of their permanent education. Many Croatian companies are aware of the importance of business education in order to survive in turbulent and uncertain business market, but in practice business education is not a priority in many of them. Due to constant technological changes in business, corporate training that involves continuous improvement and learning, is becoming one of the main conditions of employment and job keeping.
