Sažetak
Following conclusion of the hydrodynamic sewer network and the verification of the security with regard to additional impoundment in accordance with DWA standard DWA-A 118 undertaken within the scope of the general drainage planning, the question of security with regard to flooding arises for the city of Worms. For the recording of the runoff procedures a surface runoff modelling was carried out using an unstructured monitoring grid. Due to the size of the catchment area, processing demanded the employment of efficient numerical models. Thus it is possible to map large surface areas using several sites with cadastral accuracy in the monitoring grid and to calculate extreme events in a very short period of time.
