Sažetak
Computed tomography is a well known method discovered in 1970s and first applied in medicine. From 1980s it is applied in material analysis for inspection of pores and inclusions and from 2005 on was introduced as a new method for dimensional measurements. It is a non-contact and non-destructive method that uses X-ray to obtain information of both external and internal geometry of measurement objects. Because of the fact that it is a relatively new measurement method, some limitations in its usage are still present. The biggest disadvantages are lack of measurement uncertainty and metrological traceability. To assure measurement uncertainty and define metrological traceability, all parameters influencing the system should be identified, investigated and described.
