Sažetak
The paper reviews the basic known effects of electromagnetic fields on humans presenting the safety limits that are under consideration. Attention is given to the problem of exposure evaluation for the technical personnel in the telecommunication switching center and the relay tower. Electromagnetic field and radiation source characteristics are analyzed and the necessary performance of the measuring instrumentation is derived. For several tested areas the measured radiation spectral distributions are presented. Results are discussed in reference to the published reports by other research groups working on biomedical effects of electromagnetic fields.
