Sažetak
Contemporary man has achieved a significant life improvements, thanks to the progressive scientifically, technological and biomedical development. Guided by his aspirational desire for power and successfully technical mastery above all creations, gradually, man wants to take full seize control of his own live, tends to surpass natural processes by absolutization of biological dimensions and to altery modify the conditions of his development by reconstructive interventions of biomedical technologies. The utilitarian potentiation is spreading on the global scale of its existence in which unrestrained human self- destruction, eager to domain her own biotechnological mastery, often places us to see the sterilization of bioethical enthusiasm, by scrupulous scientific crime, achievable through numerous futuristic speculation of further technological post-evolutional development. All of this is developing much faster than the human awareness and its bio/ethical judgment, so at the same time, their application causes the fascination, but also arouses great manipulative fears, which encourages some bioethicists to claim that technocratic sub /cultural arrangement walks towards "technical apocalypse", by sterilization of bioethical enthusiasm and castration of moral guidelines. In the background of bioethical reflection, we can notice a deep social crisis: of awareness, ethics, morals and values, and the problems associated with the dangers of self/ destruction of insurmountable consequences of a technical progress and the irresponsibility of scientific development. From wildly desirability of liberal and despotic spirit of modern man, in recent decades, our world fell into many ethical problems which increasingly demand morality of action and behavior. Therefore, we can reasonably speak of dualism of optimistic and pessimistic fear of progress, as also of the ethical dichotomy of freedom and/or limitations of the future scientific research. Contemporary interrogatives which biomedical science is provoking are not only concerning the present, but also the future of humankind. World of centuries ago, was facing the past, and humanistic thought was considering her as a "magistra vitae". Today, we are aware that we can no longer effect on the past, while on the future, we still, certainly can, and that here and now! Seen by those eyes, the future is becoming a major bioethical concerns of modern man, responsible for his own ecumene. In front of possible risks regarding the future of dignity of human life, all of us should be co-involved in the activities which should awoke up people’s consciousness for offering a strong support for the bioethical orientation. According to our efforts of developing credibility of bioethical argument depends whether the future biotechnology discipline would experience the bioethics as presumptuous science which tries to take everything under its jurisdiction and to restrict all domains transhumanistic development and consequently close her into the cage of bioconservatism by utiltaristical policy and ideological authority, whether it would be experienced as technological curse or humanizational blessing?!
