Sažetak
This paper presents research results on distribution of trace elements in the composition of aluminium oxide ceramic (Al2O3). Deviations in the form of different coloration on the surface of the aluminium oxide ceramic were observed during the production process after sintering. It is assumed that this is related to variations in distribution of trace elements. During research a scanning electron microscope, equipped with EDS detector, was used. Line and mapping analysis were carried out to determine the distribution of trace elements. Conducted analysis showed no inhomogeneities in the distribution of any element that could be related with the observed contaminations in the aluminium oxide ceramic.
