Sažetak
This paper presents the results of testing of the multi-entrance fixed point cell (MEFP) filled with aluminium. The MEFP cells aim to improve the performances of the zones of controlled temperature used for calibration of thermometers by comparison method. The improvements are achieved by using the phase transition of metals to reduce the uncertainties due to temporal instability and gradients in those zones. Since the MEFP itself does not represent the temperauture standard, the metals of modest purity are acceptable for its manufacture.
