Sažetak
The synthesis of 7-aza unprotected trident was achieved by the N-(benzhydryl) Aza-ACE variant. Deprotection at the central nitrogen, was achieved in the course of reaction. Along with the linear product, bent products were also formed, with nitrogen still protected, which could be easily removed by ionic hydrogenation. The 7-oxabenzonorbornene aziridine along with the expected cycloadditions products also undergoes fragmentation and formation of pyrrole and other adducts. Fragmentation of adducts also leads to formation of isobenzo species, which undergo either cycloadditions or oxidation to hithertho unknown aldehydes.
