Sažetak
The IPA Adriatic CBC programme-funded project PACINNO (Platform for trans-Academic Cooperation in Innovation) was initiated with the aim to create and enable a regional innovation eco-system, in that way trying to tackle the issue of poor economic development of the Adriatic Region of Europe, lack of capabilities in the area of technology transfer as well as poor industry-academia cooperation. Through the implementation of three core activities: research on innovation and national innovation systems enablers and inhibitors, education of scientists and researchers in the field of management and entrepreneurial/business skills and technology transfer development, the project aims to provide inputs and guidelines for policy makers as well as to realize concrete activities that create and support the innovation system and its stakeholders (policymakers, scientists and entrepreneurs).
