Sažetak
After "The Bloody Easter" 1991, when the Serbian rebels attacked the Croatian police units at the Plitvicc lakes it was obvious that the war could not be avoided, the Medical Center Karlovac made all the necessary arrangements to provide for the large number of causallies. Six months before Karlovac was attacked the Drug Committee made the list of indispensable drugs and remedies necessary for the treatment of the wounded as well as calculations for 7-10 days of the war and the "Pharmacotherapeutic Approach to Wounded" was brought. Clinical experience helped us in treating the wounded who were brought from the attacked town or the front line about 2.5 km far from the Hospital. The available publications or the experience from the other war areas all over the world were of little use to us in organization and treatment of casualties due to the circumstances and the character of this war.
