Sažetak
The paper explored the relationship between economic growth and investment in environmental protection, what is "the right kind of growth", and various growth policies, financing various activities in order to reduce vulnerability to climate change. In addition, it explored how to mitigate and adapt to climate change in order to maximize positive effects and minimize possible negative effects on economic growth in the future. Regression analysis suggested, at 5% level of significance, that one percentage change in gross domestic product of Croatia results in 2, 339 percentage change in environmental protection i.e. is in adaptation and mitigation to climate change.
