Sažetak
As a means of obtaining p-type CdS, the author proposes the method of indirect doping, based on the implantation or diffusion of suitably chosen short-life radioactive atoms. Acceptors in CdS (native or introduced by doping) have to be compensated with false temporary donors (e.g. 114In). When these donors become neutral atoms (111Cd) by radioactive decay, acceptors will remain uncompensated, and there is not enough energy for thermal generation of new native donors by self-compensation (13 References).
