Sažetak
The eighth volume of journal IKON presents papers presented at the Seventh international conference of iconographic studies held in May 2014 in Rijeka in the organization of the Center for Iconographic Studies od the University of Rijeka, the Cultural Iconology and Semiography Research Group of the University of Szeged, the Institute for the Study of Culture and Christianity in Belgrade and the Visual Art Department of the University of Johanesburg. The authors in their papers discuss the relation of modern and contemporary art and Christian (religious) issues, and the ways in which these features are shown and are defined within the Corps and the arts. Displays the works of historians and teoritačara art but also contemporary artists who touch upon topics. The phrase "the strange position of religion in suvremnoj art (J.
