Sažetak
Examination of mineral composition of liver and kidneys was conducted on 27 kids (13 Alpina and 14 Sannen breed) kept under the same zootehnical conditions. Kids were slaughtered when 68 days old (16 kg body weight). Samples of liver and kidneys were taken individually from each kid, weighed, homogenized and frozen. Content of calcium (Ca), phosphorous (P), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu) and sodium (Na) was determined by atomic absorption on AASPU-9100ZX. higher concentration of all examined minerals was measured in liver than in kidneys for both breeds. Liver and kidneys have highest amount of potassium (K) and lowest content of iron (Fe) and copper (Cu). Influence of breed was significant (P<0,05) only for the concentration of phosphorous (P). Positive and significant (P<0,001) correlations were established for the concentration of calcium (Ca) phosphorous (P) and zinc (Zn) between liver and kidneys.
