Sažetak
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible. They are applicable everywhere and at every time in the sense of being universal. Children with disabilities are one of the most marginalized and excluded groups in society. In order to have a perspective on the rights of children with disabilities, a qualitative survey was conducted. Participants were employees in the social care system and in the health protection system. The results point to the challenges in practice which are connected to insufficient support to child and family. The situation in the field is disturbing in terms of children’ rights and their protection.
