Sažetak
This paper aims at conducting a comparative analysis of students’ expectations prior to and their satisfaction after an intensive study trip during which they were involved in an experiential learning process. Such a learning process should add to the overall knowledge gained during their studies and as such should enrich their overall understanding of manifold impacts of tourism within any destination. The research was conducted in 2015 during a one- week journey of students from five different universities who sailed along Croatian coast and visited Italy. The main aim of the paper is to yield better understanding of the experiential learning on the intended learning outcomes for the students.
