Sažetak
Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) can provide safety status information for a plant during
different configurations; an additional effort is needed however to do this in real time for on-line operation.
This paper describes an approach to use of PRA to achieve these goals. A Risk Assessment On-Line (RAOL)
application was developed to monitor maintenance (on-line and planned) activities. RAOL is based on the results
from a full-scope PRA, engineering/operational judgement and incorporates a user friendly program interface
approach. Results from RAOL can be used by planners or operators to effectively manage the level of risk by
controlling the actual plant configuration.
