Sažetak
Reward system and corporate culture show signs of reciprocal relationship since corporate culture can have an impact on designing a specific reward system whereas reward system is considered to be an important mechanism when changing corporate culture. However, whereas top management can control the organization's formal reward structure, it can only influence organizational culture. This paper explores reward system-corporate culture relationship as well as models implications of reward system change for corporate culture. The paper shows that the success of reward system change depends upon its congruence with corporate culture values. In longer time periods implementation of new reward systems might result with successful change in corporate culture values
