Sažetak
The authors of this article explain the sequence of events in historiography which enabled the construction of myths about Prince Eugene of Savoy. In doing this they explicate the basic elements of the myths, the Habsburg, Austrian and German one, and analyze them according to their representation in literary and historical works from the end of the 19th century to the last decades of the 20th.
