Sažetak
Tooth arrangement in complete dentures in accordance with temporomandibular joint movements is a crucial principle in prosthodontics. Slavicek pointed out that the long axis of the lower medial incisor and line drawn from the axial point to the most upper point of the lower medial incisor diverge. This knowledge he used tooth arrangement in complete dentures. We wish to evaluate the relationship between thase lines in our population. On a sample of 46 patiens a terminal hinge axis point was located by use of Laurtzen's technique, and marked on the left side of the face with a steel ball 0, 5 mm in diameter. A standard cephalogram was obtained for each patient, and. aligned on transparent foil. The long axis of the lower medial incisor and the line from the axial point to the uppermost point of the incisal edge of the tooth were aligned on foil. Angles between these were measured and statisticaly evaluated. Statistical measurements were wery close to Slavicek's results. The method prposed by Slavicek can be use din a Creation population to assess individual craniofacial morfology.
