Sažetak
Problems of the use computer animation in the development of core technical competencies are expressed in the students' experiential limitations and insufficiently mental models necessary for the proper interpretation of such abstract display. Based on analysis of the survey established that computer animation, as an element that completes the gap between the theoretical background and practical skills, can contribute to the development of competencies students only with the proper application through the contextual organized tuition. This paper therefore amount a very rigorous conditions and restrictions on the use of animation in a methodological and technical sense which makes reasonable methodological framework for the application of animation in teaching basic technology education. The proposed framework shows that the use of computer animation in the basic technology education should be conditional on the students' experience, the level of development of their mental models, and also time-synchronized with the contextually organized activities.
